I think I just died a little...

From pure joy! Hahaa, okay, okay... I kid! I'm not really going to die. You know that feeling though, right? That one where you stumble across something you weren't even looking for. Bam, there it is? Well, I totally had that this morning. I have been really obsessing over these Prada oxford platforms from the Spring 11 collection and I have found some great knock offs! Okay, I know. Am I really willing to tell you I found something like this? Yes! I really don't care how people feel about all of this BS. I can't afford fucking Prada shoes people! So this is as good as it gets for me... and I don't care! I found these sweet puppies online this morning from an interesting site I came across yesterday. I almost don't want to share, because I want a pair when they finally go on sale! Oh , well... just save me a pair!

oh, Hai!

Well, if it isn't my Blog! Long time no see! I've been in a very non-blogger mood lately... but I will be back soon. Hopefully have a few DIY's I can actually hold myself accountable to! It actually just been really nice not even thinking about my blog. Sometimes we all just need a little break from the day-to-day.

In some personal news, I just celebrated my 6 year anniversary with my Fiance! Pretty weird if you ask me! It's hard to believe I have been with him since I was 19. Such little kids we were. ( hahaha, like it was sooo long ago? I guess we still are in retrospect) We spent a nice 3 day break just enjoying the summer weather. We had bigger plans but decided low-key was a better option... we do have a wedding to be planning! ( News on wedding planning soon. Major changes! This girl could NOT handle planning a big wedding. So i'm opting for something a lot smaller and much, much more meaningful .

Sf Birthday Weekend

So I turned 25 this weekend. Had a pretty amazing time. I wish I was better at taking pictures, because alas I pretty much have none! Thankfully I go a few here or there, and I know a few photos hanging around friends cameras. My fiance took my up to sf for a few days. Saw an amazing concert with a surprise appearance by M.Ward! Somehow came down with a bug or something on the second day! (luckily everything worked out anyway because that was my actual birthday!) Went out with a bunch of friends who were so amazing to join me from a few different spots in California!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Now to get through a week of work so I can go see My Morning Jacket again in Santa Barbara, and visiting some a friend in SLO!

realization

sometimes it takes me a while to realize how obsessed i've become with something.. how easily it becomes part of my daily routine before i even notice its  a habit! recently i came to the realization that i can't stop checking nastygal.com for whats next. they really have everything. from the price being pretty reasonable to the fact they carry some really cool shit. such an amazing mix and modern and classic pieces. vintage and new. men's inspired pieces to the frilliest girlie frock you ever laid eyes on.  I've only purchased probably one out of the millions items i have wanted from them.. but it doesn't hurt to keep looking. loving this dress by dress by UNIF. it has it all. I soooo need this.

Do it better.

Loving the easy Northern California vibe this NastyGal photo shoot is giving off. Makes me want to get in my cut-offs grab a cooler and some fixings for roadside sammie's ( a term my fiance and I coined last summer while taking a road trip down to Hollywood to see our favorite band. Sandwiches by the roadside, duh!) This week kicks off pretty much a non-stop month of fun, concerts, friends, birthdays and who knows what else! Summers are my favorite. Warm air, Lemonade. camping....  a girl cold go on and on.
