I really wanted to share with everyone a bit of what the business I work for does. If you have been following me for a any time at all you might already know I work for a small textile company out of Monterey, CA. It used to be run out of New York , but when his main buyer came to the west coast he did the same. Now we work in part with a few different businesses including one named  Santorelli out of San Fransisco.  They are doing some great things for young men right now and I highly recommend checking it out  RS.

This is not a fashion post...

Many of my posts or not fashion oriented , but are mostly unimportant on a lot of levels. I've been watching a great show on Hulu recently, and I feel like it's something I need to share with people. Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution is something I've been waiting for, for a LONG time. Many people in this country have no idea the importance of food in our lives, and I think this show really proves that point well. I find it really sad to watch all of these adults feeding those poor children this disgusting food . I do understand that a lot of places in this country serve such things due to lack of health education and financial issues. However, the ignorance of some of them and the pure lack of being open minded is absurd.

I grew up in a family where we did not eat that great, but once I became old enough to make my own decisions I changed a lot about that aspect of my life. I actually lost about 75 just because of this.
Unfortunately most people don't do that.

This is something you need to watch for yourself and share with your family. Obesity in our children in this country is out of control and something needs to be done about it.  It's really sad it takes someone from another country ( one that's not even know for it's healthy food ) to show us what we are doing is wrong. I'm not saying I'm not saying I'm the healthiest of eater, but I do make a point to eat home cooked meals. Always from scratch. I've even got into making my own breads! ( thanks to my boyfriend ) I think this needs to be shown in schools from elementary to adult school. Everyone needs to at least start thinking about what they put in there mouths. It could change there lives.

Enough ranting. Everyone have a great HEALTHY day!

Chew on this!

Cutest chew toy ever! I don't think my dog would be the least bit interested in the toy, but I'm getting it anyway. Haha, I've spent a worse 12 bucks... that's for sure.

made for walking....

I saw these boots by Penelope and Coco  in my latest issue of Nylon Magazine only to find them again online today. All I really have to say is I really want all of these. Since I don't exactly have a budget for these bad boys I'm sensing an amazing DIY project coming on!

bunny face.

I woke up yesterday morning a little sad i had no Marc Jacobs  for Louis Vuitton lace bunny ears to adorn atop my head. It would have been the perfect addition to my simple black pant and purple silk top of an Easter outfit. Easter has lost it's allure for me in recent years. It was always about waking up before sun rise for church, what beautiful dress would my mother and grandmother make for me, and of course mass amounts of rich foods at every corner of our house when we returned after the mornings services. I don't know if it's my move away from organized religion ( I left my church at 17 and am now basically 24) or just the fact that I'm older, and things like Easter egg hunts just don't seem like something I HAVE to do anymore.  Even with this being the case I had a great time spending my Sunday with my family. My grandmother is probably in her last years and I know I need to make the most of my time with her. My boyfriend and I made a tasty breakfast it lasted a whole 2 seconds and it was gone! So needless to say the day was more than enjoyable to say the least. I mean c'mon, I had my fill of champagne my noon.. how could I have a bad day?!?

I'll leave you all with some images of said bunny ears!
